Welcome to the Financial Aid Office at CCC

Welcome to the financial aid office at Carteret Community College. I am Brenda Long, your financial aid officer here at CCC.

My staff and I understand that the process of applying for and receiving financial assistance at times can be intimating and confusing. Our website is specifically designed with that in mind. We ask that you read all the information carefully and contact our experienced staff with any questions you might have. The financial aid office operates under an “open door” philosophy and in most cases an appointment is not necessary.

It is extremely important that students remember to apply for financial aid as soon as possible after January 1^st each year for the following fall semester.

Some types of financial aid are awarded on a first come/first serve basis. To begin the process, students must complete a FAFSA or Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Students should apply on-line at the United States Department of Education’s website, www.fafsa.ed.gov. CCC’s Title IV school code is 008081. When you enter our school code on the application the Department of Education will forward it to the college.
